The Project

A Signature Range design personalised for canal-side living.

Lucia began with the Solis design from the Nella Signature Range. A proven layout, refined proportions, and a foundation the clients trusted from the outset.

From there, the home was personalised through close collaboration. The facade was redesigned to suit the site and the family's vision. Minor internal adjustments were made to reflect the way they live. The material palette was selected with care and intention. What remained was the integrity of the original design, what changed was everything that made it theirs.

Now under construction on the Newport canals, Lucia is oriented to maximise natural light and water outlook across every principal living space.

Design intent

A Signature Range design personalised around the site, the client’s brief and the canal outlook.

Material direction

A restrained palette of stone, timber and soft neutrals keeps the home calm and resolved.

Built with care

The original Solis layout was carefully adjusted so Lucia feels specific to its owners.

What you don’t see in the photos.

The finished home is only the visible part of the build. Behind every Nella project is a series of decisions about the site, the structure, the materials and the way the home will actually be lived in.

Not a template. Not a package.

Every Nella home is shaped around the client, the block and the way the home needs to be lived in. You are not locked into a fixed set of selections, finishes or materials. The result is still yours, guided by a builder who knows how to make each decision work.

Decisions made with guidance.

Building should not mean being rushed into choices you do not understand. Trent works through the details with you early, from layout and materials to the way each finish comes together, so every decision is considered before it becomes a problem on site.

The standard continues after handover.

A Nella build does not end when the keys are handed over. The same care that shapes the home during construction continues into the final checks, handover and aftercare, so the standard is protected long after move-in day.
